Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is an interdisciplinary branch of science, engineering and technology creating a complete ecosystem and a paradigm shift in virtually every sector of the technical industry, academics and research. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science is the future of technology which is changing the world at a very high pace. The basic objectives of this course are to train students with the next age of Intelligence and analytics generated by machines, influencing nearly every facet of our lives to help improve efficiencies and augment human capabilities, influencing consumer products with significant breakthroughs in healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and retail industries. With the tremendous amount of data generated every day and the computing power available, Data Science plays an important role in helping every business organization in identifying business trends and changes through advanced Big Data Analytics with a variety of techniques and tools to interpret and predict business results and future from multiple data sources through statistical analysis, data aggregation, and data mining. Artificial Intelligence and Data Science undergraduate engineering course has been started by the institute from the academic year July 2020 with the intake capacity of 60 seats.

The Somaiya stationery Management System (SSMS) is a versatile platform designed to streamline daily operations within the department. This intuitive system enables seamless interaction between faculty and administration for efficient stationery management. With an easy-to-use interface, faculty members can submit direct requests for required stationery items, eliminating the need for intermediary communication. The admin can swiftly review and fulfill these requests, ensuring a smooth process without involving third parties. Moreover, the admin can oversee the ordered stationery, maintaining a comprehensive record of available quantities. This tally is dynamically updated upon allocation to faculty. Notably, all inputs from the admin, including stationery and faculty details, are presented through user-friendly dropdowns for effortless assignment. The SSMS empowers both faculty and administration, facilitating better resource management and generating insightful reports based on selected parameters. In essence, the system offers a holistic solution with enhanced accessibility and effectiveness, enhancing the stationery management experience.
